We are
located just outside of Baudette,
in beautiful northern Minnesota near the Canadian border. This area is
considered to be a true sportsman’s paradise. Along with our shooting
venue the area offers the finest Walleye fishing anywhere in the
country. Lake of the Woods has twice been the host of In-Fisherman’s PWT
(Professional Walleye Tournament). Lake of the Woods also offers some of
the finest bird, deer & black bear hunting available. It is truly one of
the best-kept secrets around.
We are surrounded
by beautiful forestland on one side and a spectacular lake and river on
the other side, sharing the border with our Canadian neighbors. Hwy 11
west from the International Falls airport to Baudette winds along the
Rainy River and is a spectacular scenic drive with beautiful Norwegian
Pines, Blue Spruce and Birch trees lining the route, with a view of the
Rainy River along the way, interspersed with open fields where one can
observe the local deer population feeding during certain times of the
day. The 80 mile long Rainy River flows from Rainy Lake into Lake of the
Woods, which offers 60,000 miles of shoreline and 14,700 islands.
Even though we are
remotely located, there are plenty of things to do for everyone.
