2nd Annual Memorial Shoot

The 100 target 2nd Annual Dan Martin Memorial Shoot held August 13th was a tremendous success and was enjoyed by young & old alike. The weather was totally cooperative with a mixture of sun & clouds with some wind thrown in to make the target presentations a bit challenging and a lot of fun. All of the competitors were treated to a Walleye Fish Fry and some great door prizes that were donated by local area resorts and businesses supporting the shoot.

1st HOA was taken by Kevin Olson of Baudette with a score of 87 out of 100. 2nd & 3rd HOA went to a 25 target shoot off between Jeremy Sisler of Warroad and Tom Hanson of Baudette. Both went into the shoot off with an 81. Jeremy emerged as the victor of 2nd HOA with a whopping 24 out of 25 giving Tom 3rd HOA. 4th place was taken by Chris Ford of Williams and 5th place was taken by Kevin’s brother Darren Olson also of Baudette. Good shooters seem to run in the family!

Congratulations to all of our shooters. All of the competitors did a super job & it was a great time for our mid-summer event.

We are looking forward to the 3rd Annual event in 2007!
